These are the official posting guidelines ("Site Guidelines") for www.coachscorecard.com, including its website, mobile application, and any other interactive services we provide (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is owned, operated, and provided by Coach Scorecard LLC ("Coach Scorecard," "we," "us," or "our"). These Site Guidelines are part of, and Additional Terms under, our Terms of Service.
Coach Scorecard is a platform dedicated to helping athletes, parents, and the broader sporting community research and evaluate sports coaches across all levels and disciplines. Our mission is to provide a safe, honest, and constructive forum for sharing coaching experiences so that athletes and families can make informed decisions about their athletic development.
Coach Scorecard provides user-generated feedback on coaches' methods, communication, player development approach, and overall coaching effectiveness across individual sports, team sports, and fitness disciplines.
Reviews may be submitted by:
Each eligible reviewer is limited to one (1) review per coach. Reviews must reflect direct, first-hand experience with the coach in a coaching capacity.
Coach Scorecard has a team of moderators who review every rating submitted. Our moderation decisions are consistent and fair regardless of who is being reviewed or who submitted the rating. Our moderators will remove any comment that does not comply with these guidelines.
If you believe an existing comment violates these guidelines, you can flag it for re-review. Flagged comments are immediately escalated to our moderation team, who will determine whether to remove the rating permanently or restore it to the site. Our moderators will never edit a rating to make it comply, and will never remove a rating simply because it is negative or unflattering.
Comments containing any of the following will be removed without exception:
Because many athletes reviewed on this platform may be minors, Coach Scorecard takes the safety and privacy of young athletes seriously.
Coach Scorecard is an anonymous platform that allows athletes, parents, and peers to share their experiences. We are unable to provide personal information about the individual who submitted a review.
We do not proactively add coach profiles to the platform — every profile was submitted by a member of our community.
We are unable to remove a review simply because it is negative. A review will only be removed if it violates these Site Guidelines.
We encourage coaches to engage with their reviewers by creating a Coach Scorecard account. With a coach account, you can post a public reply to reviews and receive alerts when new ratings are submitted to your profile.
Coach Scorecard's moderation team is not an arbiter of factual disputes. We cannot verify or disprove specific claims made in a review. If you disagree with the content of a review, we recommend responding professionally through your coach account.
If you believe your profile is being targeted with coordinated or false reviews, contact us at support@coachscorecard.com. We will review the submissions in question and take appropriate action.
While it is against our guidelines for a coach to review themselves, we encourage coaches to invite their athletes and families to share genuine feedback each season. A larger volume of reviews provides a more representative and balanced picture.
Coach replies are subject to the same Prohibited Content rules listed above.
If you see a review that violates these Site Guidelines, click "Report this review" at the bottom of the comment and describe the issue. The review will be evaluated by our moderation team.
Please do not flag a review simply because you disagree with it or because it is negative. Abuse of the flagging system may result in suspension of your account.
Coach Scorecard LLC occasionally receives demands to remove content, sometimes accompanied by threats of legal action. To date, no legal action against Coach Scorecard LLC for user-submitted reviews has been successful.
The law protects Coach Scorecard LLC from legal liability for content submitted by our users. Specifically, Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 (47 U.S.C. Sec. 230) provides federal immunity to online platforms for content originating from third-party users.
Parties who pursue legal action against Coach Scorecard LLC in disregard of these clear legal protections risk financial sanctions and reimbursement of our legal costs.

Coach Scorecard LLC reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate, libelous, defamatory, indecent, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racially or ethnically offensive, harmful, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or abusive, or which otherwise violates our Terms of Service.
Coach Scorecard LLC reserves the right to remove, provide to authorities, or otherwise take appropriate action regarding content that threatens violence or bodily harm to any person, including notifying authorities of the relevant IP address and submission time.
We reserve the right to update these Site Guidelines at any time. Continued use of the Site following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised guidelines.
